Aged fermented pepper puree with an intense pungent, biting, hot, sharp and cumulative to the point of being overwhelming. The peppers are ground and pureed (no visible skin or pips) and go through a natural fermentation process. It has a pungency of range  35 000 – 50 000 scoville heat units and salt content of 15% that acts as a preservative and gives it a long shelf life of 2 years from day of production.

Product Use

This product is ideal for making very hot sauces and marinades. Add small quantities to stews, soups, or pastes to infuse them with intense heat and flavour. You can also blend it with garlic, onions, vinegar, sugar, purée, lemon juice, and other ingredients to create your own custom-made chilli sauce.

This pepper mash requires further processing before consumption. The product has not been cooked / pasteurized and therefore may contain harmful bacteria that can cause illness. The risk is heightened in children, elderly and persons with weakened immune systems.
